[sub][color=D3E97D][b]P E R S O N A L  H I S T O R Y[/b][/color][/sub][indent][color=A9A9A9]There honestly isn't much to say about Shirou that would be of any interest. Born to a civilian family in the hidden leaf, his parents had hoped that he would live a normal life like them, maybe take over the family blacksmithing business, and just stay generally out of harms way. However, as it turned out, Shirou was more enamored with the shinobi who would regularly visit the store, even if he preferred to hide in the back and peak out at them. Even the Hokage, a real hero, had purchased weapons from them! It was incredible to see them, to know that there were people out there who could be depended on to protect them no matter what came! For a kid who was already beginning to feel like they wouldn't be able to achieve much, he found himself inspired by the ideals they represented.

At first, Shirou's parents had taken his wish to become a ninja as little more than a child's fantasies. However, as time went on, they began to realise he may actually be serious. This came to a head when they found him practicing with a spear he had taken from the storefront without them knowing. Naturally, they were horrified at the idea that he could have seriously injured himself, as he was still just a child. However, they were also somewhat impressed, as neither had noticed him take the weapon despite both being in the storefront at the time. So, after making sure that he was using a wooden practice spear instead of a real weapon, they began to encourage him to follow his dream, eventually enrolling him in the academy.

Unfortunately, while he did do decently in the academy, getting mostly average marks at every turn, he was never really able to make friends due to his shyness. The closest he really came, at least as far as he realises, was helping the teachers perform mundane tasks. He would have [i]liked[/i] to make friends his age, of course, but he always had too much trouble talking to them, with a tendency to freeze up, or at the very least stutter uncontrollably until most other children just stopped trying. Even now that he's a genin in an actual team, he still feels too nervous to properly connect to his teammates. He can stutter his way through an actual conversation now at least, but whenever they train or go out on missions together, he can't help but feel like the weak link, a burden that not only can't achieve what the others can, but actively drags them down with him.[/color][/indent]

[indent][color=A9A9A9]Not super sure yet, honestly. I guess I just want him to gain a little confidence and become what he wants to be, someone the people of the leaf can rely on. Not asking for the Hokage or anything, but you know, someone people can know will keep them safe.

Or, idunno, get all the other players attached to him and then kill him off in some spectacular sacrifice to make everyone else sad. That shit rocks.[/color][/indent]
