”Oh yes, please do,” she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. ”I know you like guys because we discuss it all the time, just as we discuss the taste we have in women.” It was incredibly lucky that they were twins and were both bisexual. It made a lot of things easier for them. She shifted when their food was brought over. The waiter asked if they wanted anything else and after Layla said no, Cassiopeia smirked. ”Yes actually, my sister would like your phone number,” she said innocently. Cassiopeia smirked at Layla, mouthing you’re welcome before turning to her food. Cassiopeia ate her food slowly, thinking on the letter now. At the very least, if they did go they would find out who their parents were, which could be helpful with any future health problems they may have. It could be useful for a lot of things and their last foster parents were always very supportive with letting them know they would help Cassiopeia and her sister find their birth parents if they desired it. ”Alright LaLa, you win, we can go to the park after this and scope the place out.” Cassiopeia held her fork out so they could tap their utensils together in a mock handshake. It was comforting in a grounding sort of way but it was always too heavy. She shrugged out of it, shifting away and stared at the table. The voices around her blurred until she heard her phone ringing. She grabbed it quickly and saw that it was her mother calling. Willow didn’t really know what to do. Her heart leaped at the idea of hearing her mother’s comforting voice but then she tightened up and feared it. Was she calling to tell Willow that she was adopted? Panicking, Willow hit the decline button on her phone before setting it down on the table. She just declined her mother, she’s never done that before. Willow groaned and put her head on her arms and rested them on the table. This was turning out to be a wonderfully awful day. Four people, all with the same letter. It couldn’t be a coincidence but Willow was still hoping it was a ruse. She couldn’t handle her whole life falling apart right now, she wasn’t built for that. After a moment her phone started to ring again. ”I need to take this.” Willow moved out of the booth and answered her mother’s phone call.
