[b][color=F0B6E5]How did you come into your magic:[/color][/b] The Locke family always knew magic ran through their blood and it was never discouraged. It was managed, however, and it was important that the Locke children knew when and where to use their abilities. Hogwarts was always in the future for the children, coming from a long line of graduates. Magic was always celebrated in the household, even when danger struck.

[b][color=F0B6E5]General History:[/color][/b] The Locke family has always been in touch with their magical side. Spanning generations, Hogwarts was always in the cards. So when Jeremiah Locke entered the hallowed halls, joining House Gryffindor, he knew he was in the right place. What he did not expect was seeing Cecilia, a beautiful Ravenclaw, and falling in love. The two hit it off and years after leaving Hogwarts, were married and had two children, Terrence and Georgina.

Jeremiah joined up with the Aurors right away and Cecilia stayed close to home, opening up her own bookstore so she could be with her children. Magic was always valued, but taught about a time and place to use it. Terrence, being older, left for Hogwarts and house Gryffindor like his father. Georgina stayed home and practiced. However, the call for arms soon came against the Death Eaters and Jeremiah left to join the fight. Cecilia stayed home to protect Georgina and Terrence. As the fighting commenced, word soon came back and Jeremiah was killed in action protecting a family of half-bloods.

Terrence took the hit harder than most. After graduating from Hogwarts, he left to join the Muggle world. Georgina gets a post every so often from him, but it had been years since they talked. Cecilia almost didn't allow her to attend Hogwarts but knew it would be the best bet for her daughter to learn to protect herself. So Georgina left and, to the surprise of most, entered Hufflepuff.

There she took to her studies with gusto, knowing she wanted to take up her father's name as the next best Auror and take down the Death Eaters that took so much from her. Knowing what she needed to do, she practiced and studied, almost to her own detriment until she met some friends who helped keep her leveled. She vowed to protect those she cared for and learn all she can to protect everyone from whatever threatened them.
