By pushing her will over minerals of all types (sand, dirt, ores, gems, etc.), she is able to mold them to her liking. She can form constructs, clear out patches of earth to create pitfalls, and make earth levitate to name a few examples of this gift. Her will extends to by-products of natural materials as well. Steel beams and bricks, for example, are not immune to her.
Queen of Disaster: Janet's emotions lend to the manipulation and creation of natural disasters. Volcanoes in moments of passion, earthquakes when she experiences tremors of fear, hailstorms and hurricanes when she's feeling down, and thunder-strikes brought on by anger. Sometimes, these occur in mixtures. These weather anomalies aren't able to extend past a mile's radius, but they are sudden and extremely dangerous.
Most Precious: Janet is able to sense precious metals buried miles down into the ground.
Natural Resistance: Janet is immune to the disasters she summons. If she were to be struck by her own lightning, she'd be completely fine. However, if she were to be hit by any naturally occurring lightning, she'd be electrocuted. Now, Janet dresses exclusively for comfort and the ability to remain nondescript. Plain black hoodies, sweatpants, tennis shoes. These make up her outfits of choice. The only thing she goes all out on anymore is her hair, which is usually braided up with crazy colors.
Armament/Equipment:

Janet carries a taser for protection.
Affiliation:
Unaffiliated
Personality:
Janet used to be controlled by her emotions. She was known for fiery outbursts, snobbish remarks and the occasional bullying. Ever since she returned from her training, she's been subdued. She no longer has outbursts, she no longer laughs for minutes on end. Whatever reactions she does have are practiced. She'll gladly offer up help to those in need, so long as it doesn't require the utilization of her abilities. She faces the world with a suppressed spirit. There was little in the form of struggles, as both her parents were well off and capable of taking care of their family. That being said, it was quite common for Alijah and Caleb to leave their children at home with a nanny rather than taking care of them personally. They'd come home after weekends away with gifts abundant, and an apology in tow. As Janet grew up, she began to depend on herself more than her family. By the age of twelve, she was making trips down to the grocery store alone. By the age of fourteen, she was teaching her brother to do the same thing. Her parents were still quite distant, and she labeled this as them not caring enough to be around. It wasn't long before she started using friends and their families as surrogates for her own. The family of her best friend, Cadence, welcomed her in with open arms. They didn't have as much as she did, but they were kind and let her sleep over when she couldn't stand being in her own home any longer. It wasn't long before she started taking this too far. She'd ask them in roundabout ways to adopt her, tell them how miserable she was in her home. One day, they sat her down at their dinner table and told her that she'd have to stop coming over for a while. As one might expect, Janet didn't react well. She became angry, upset, and in a wave of heated emotion she summoned up a series of natural disasters that ended up destroying the house, and the people within it. Cadence, who had been absent due to a sports trip, came home to ambulances and firetrucks outside of his home. He watched as his friend was pulled from the scene in cuffs, completely unscathed. Needless to say, Janet wasn't let off the hook. She was only fifteen at the time, so she was tried as a minor. She was sentenced to juvenile detention until the age of eighteen, and Behavioral Reassessment Training under NOVA. By the time Janet came out of this training, she was a changed person. Her record had been buried, and she was able to reintegrate into society with minimal difficulty. Since that day, any use of her power has been for demonstration purposes only.
