Also, I don't think I'd ever heard of Crimson Avenger until you mentioned them. Huh, there are similarities. Purely coincidental though as, like I said, I had never heard of Crimoson Avenger before now. My main inspirations were Batman Beyond (the Terry/Bruce dynamic specifically) and Philip Marlowe (a series of pulp detective novels) with a tiny bit of Constantine to give it that mystical/paranormal flair.
