I do have questions concerning PCs though: 

You mentioned how the Divine would train the reincarnation of Aurelia, but do those skills have to be useful in combat? If they can be non-combat skills, how (seemingly) mundane can those skills be? 

Does the PC have to be a Divine? Could a player potentially play as Aurelia's servant, bodyguard (not skilled enough to be a Divine, but good enough to be a meatshield should it come to it), body double, etc. etc.?
