Truth be told, his retort almost made her giggle and she had to hide it behind a sip of her drink. They both had quite different approaches when it came to new people, but that was okay. Bowyn and Little Blue seemed to have the same cheekiness to them and while Torvi could be the same, she figured having three people acting that way may turn into a fight. So she’d decided to try and be the middleman here, the voice of reason, if you will. What she hadn’t expected was a twinge of guilt that hit her at the mention of Bowyn losing his home for a second time. While Bowyn seemed to blame the elves who’d brought her and the other humans here, she couldn’t help but blame herself for it. The guilt crossed over her face as she glanced at Bowyn sadly. A part of her wanted to apologize to him, but she kept it to herself for now. Their companions may think it quite odd if she did so. She picked up on Little Blue’s mention of how the humans hadn’t asked to be there and Torvi scoffed just a little. ”That they did not.” The words came out of her mouth before she could really think about them and she tried to cover it up with taking a drink of her mead again. The drink was once again almost gone and the impulsive part of her wanted to order another, but the logical part of her said it probably wasn’t a great idea to become completely inebriated so early in the day. So she set what remained down, wanting to make it last for as long as she could. ”The Moon Elf Village you say?” She quickly latched onto this subject, wanting to avoid any questions of her previous comment. ”I have a few fond memories from the Moon Elf Village.” She said with a grin as she stole a glance at Bowyn. She thought back to their time there while traveling to Roshmi. ”There’s a very sweet tailor there, Ucona is her name. She was kind enough to give me a deal on clothes once.” What she neglected to say was that the ‘deal’ she got was unbeknownst to poor Ucona. This was right around the time that both Bowyn and Torvi realized that Torvi was best at distracting the shopkeeper while Bowyn stole what they needed. Poor Ucona was a victim of such a con a few days ago. Elleta’s offer of help to them was quite curious to Torvi as she now became a tad bit more suspicious of the two. She’d been questioning them ever since they’d sat down, but now she felt like it had been confirmed that they were here to do more than just make friends. ”It’s been a pleasure meeting the both of you as well, thoughI’m quite intrigued with what you would like to assist us with?” She grinned at the elven woman, wondering what her answer would be. It was at this time as well that she noticed a cloaked figure take a seat at the table next to theirs. She eyed him suspiciously for a moment as the man had kept his hood up. There was no point in keeping a hood on indoors unless you were trying to hide your identity. That fact alone immediately made her wary of the man. For now she’d just keep an eye on him. Little Blue offered to buy them the next round of drinks or food if they desired and Torvi gave the woman a smile. ”That’s very kind of you. I personally wouldn’t mind some food. How about you?” She responded, directing the last question at Bowyn. She figured if they were offering free food or drinks there was no harm in taking them up on it. Never refuse free food or money, that was a good rule to live by in her books.
