I knew nothing of my mother or father, instead, I was looked after and trained more specifically by my grandfather. My home was formerly a temple from a village hidden in mountains. It was not easy, growing as I was. Being a grandson of the Shihan, much expectation was placed upon my shoulders. 

As a genin, I was both looked up to or envied by many of the young students. [s]Besides making a laughing stock of my wannabe bullies,[/s] I spent much time training, meditating, or studying scrolls. I was an impatient boy, wanting to rise through the ranks as quickly as possible. From genin to chunin, I went on expanding my skills. I wanted for my grandfather to be proud of me. Proud enough to let me explore the world outside of the temple grounds, as I did not encounter much of the outside world other than the others who lived near the mountain. 

My grandfather and Sensei Gohu conflicted on the requests for help relating to the Great Shinobi War. My grandfather was still very much stuck to the past, to keep peaceful and isolated as the ninja monks were before us. Master Gohu wished to lead us in a different direction, that we might not be destroyed by the world passing us by.

Master Gohu was not exemplary. He was too quick to anger, brutal in punishment. He was smooth with his tongue and thus, swayed many of the others to his side. At times with deception and fear. Ever since then, I saw how much he had strayed from the path in which grandfather had taught us. Even I used to believe that, while I did not particularly agree with the things Gohu had done, getting more involved with the world outside would be better for us. 

However, with my grandfather being the shihan, his word overruled Gohu. In these matters, the two remained at an impasse. Though, this wouldn't be for long...Two tigers could not reside on the same mountain for too long, an old story went. So, Master Gohu proposed to settle their dispute through combat. My grandfather agreed, to much of my excitement. I thought my grandfather would finally put him in his place...Alas, Master Gohu had youth on his side, managing to strike down and nearly kill my master in front of all in the temple. 

Despite the waves of shock that spread, Gohu was now the Shihan, and no one dared to rebel. So we were sent to aid with the war effort. The rest is history; the war ended, I did some exploring, and eventually I was officially ranked a jonin here. 

A sad tale? Perhaps, but it is the life I lived."[/color][/indent]

Training is rigorous, Those who decide to specialize in taijutsu learn the secret technique called the “Gentle Fist”. Kami’s circumstances being what they were, he had the ability to study freely, as well as apply the in combat situations, greatly enhancing his skill with the form. Although the few monks who are users of this technique cannot see the tenketsu points, they have learned to memorize their places according to varying body charts. A monk’s skill in the form is determined by their memory of these points. Kami is one of the more fortunate ones.[/color] 

[color=lime][b]• Chakra Control/Understanding[/b][/color][color=A9A9A9] - It is also pretty common practice for many of the monks to be skilled in how to control and manage their own chakra abilities, Kami is no different. He has the potential to open gates, but it only caps at around 4-5 as his body isn’t strong enough to handle more. Moreover, another of his specialties comes from observing other forms of chakra use and making fairly good guesses about how much chakra one uses to complete certain jutsu and actions, as well as how much remains.

[color=lime][b]• Geographical Knowledge[/b][/color] - Having always wanted to explore the world, Kami has studied many different maps and knows a good amount of information about varying areas. This could mean the wild life, weather patterns, as well as varying peoples from the area. Though, a large part of his memory hold information that could possibly be obsolete in some ways, in which he still studies locations to this day.[/color][/INDENT]
