The combination of both of these influences led to Hirameki trying to do both at the same time, developing into an extremely high energy young man who seems to never sleep.

Hirameki's parents spoiled and constantly encouraged him, telling him that he was the best thing that happened to the both of them, and he combined the best aspects of the both of them. This constant encouragement gave Hirameki a bit of an ego, and though he tries to be nice, his pride can be rather annoying when he starts feeling himself.

Hirameki entered the academy ready to learn and did exactly that, forcing himself to inhale as much information as possible, allowing him to get exceptional test scores despite his taijutsu and ninjutsu being behind his classmates. He's since heavily focused on improving those areas, though that doesn't stop him from annoying his new genin teammates, hoping to find someone just as interested in having a few parties as he is.[/color][/indent]

As such he will become a premier genjutsu expert, with some high level ninjutsu to supplement.

Prior to the time skip, Hirameki will be a bit of a jackass, but just prior to it, he will gain self-awareness about this fact, and post skip, will be trying to discover his new self after dedicating his entire life to being the best.[/color][/indent]

As such, Yuutsu was trained to follow in the family business, being trained to be modest, quiet, and submissive. Despite this training, Yuutsu started to develop a rebellious streak, and to counter this, her parents asked one of the monks to tutor her. Instead of teaching her how to be a good servant, however, the monk taught her to be a good thinker, teaching her a love of poetry and of meditation. Eventually, he encouraged her to leave for Konoha and enter the academy. Yuutsu would never forgive him for this, and would stop talking to him entirely soon after becoming a jonin.

Yuutsu graduated the academy at ten, and two years later would pass the chuunin exams, much to the pleasure of her team. For all she tried to remain distant, Yuutsu grew to love her teammates as siblings, and when called to war alongside them, worked her hardest to protect and aid them. Despite her efforts, her jonin teacher and one of her fellows would die in the conflict. Yuutsu was promoted to jonin about halfway through the war, but the promotion brought her no pleasure. The praise her service got her brought her no pleasure. She felt numb to it all.

Yuutsu would retire to her home for most of the next decade of her life, only leaving to speak to her one remaining teammate and for missions, until he too passed, thankfully of illness, and Yuutsu retired to seclusion. She failed every genin team forced her way and eventually requested to no longer be given them. As she approached her third decade, she began to look back on her life, and realize how lonely she truly was. Requesting one more genin team, she decided that maybe she'd be able to find happiness through interaction. If not, then she could always take the most difficult mission available to feel alive again.[/color][/indent]

The Irezumi brothers were a famed pair of ninja during the previous Ninja World War, becoming known as "Blade and Tooth", thanks to Taka's chosen weapon; the sword, and Kuren's chosen weapon; whatever body part he could use. The brothers maintained high prestige as ninjas, but retired early as a result of injuries sustained in the war as well as a desire to focus on their family lives.

With this heritage behind her, Makoto was destined to be a ninja. Her father gave her a masculine name, not so subtly nudging her towards becoming a more masculine person. The nudge proved quite successful, and Makoto became very masculine, even as a child preferring to spend time with male classmates over her female classmates. She impressed both her father and her uncle at the traditional tattoo ceremony, where she expressed no emotion at the immensely painful and agonizingly long process of tattooing.

At least, not in front of them she didn't.

With her new tattoos and her new title as Genin, Makoto looks forward to impressing her family and showing that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, though she worries that she may never be able to hold up to the previous generation.[/color][/indent]

Depending on the tattoo, the creations can have different forms, but they all share an ability to interact with and deal damage to opponents. Their resistance to damage depends on how much chakra the user dedicates to them, most of the time they cannot resist more than one blow, but a user with high chakra reserves can assure they resist more.

Makoto's tattoos include:
