[@Fabricant451] Sound like you have first hand experience with this game. Did you have the misfortune of buying it and playing long enough to not be eligible for a refund? But ya, sounds like the cash grab I thought it was. I just can't understand why they thought it was a good idea to just recreate the DBZ anime as an open world game. Everyone knows these sagas, I can just imagine the fluff and mmo type quests put into the game as they try to fill in a world that has been shown to be 90% wide expanses of nothingness. Dragon ball makes sense as a fighting game, that's the main thing people like about the series, world building has never been a dragon ball strong suit which is something a good rpg needs to make it feel alive and interactive. Sounds like they tried to make an rpg experience, while attempting to keep some of the battle elements of other titles, and just failing to do any part of the game justice. There are very few DBZ games out there I would consider good. Most are pure fan-service disguised as a game and Kakarot sounds like a doozy. I'm still a little annoyed with myself for getting Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, which is almost completely fan-service and just finding a way to exploit the system with skills. At least there is some skill in deck building and certain missions require the correct set up to have a chance to win. Still sounds better than Kakarot even if the battle system is just the correct timing of a button press. At least the card creation system is cool and allows you to completely mess around with characters and create your own unique abominations or powerhouses. While the game itself isn't great, at least I can have fun with all the customization and weird battles you can make.
