Growing up was easy for little Klein. His parents were loving, caring, and were always there when he needed them, that was until one day his father, Wolfgang suddenly disappeared. While it wasn't odd for him to be gone for a few weeks while out on expeditions, this time he never came back. His mother became distant towards him and he never understood why. Was it his name? Klein stopped going by his first name ever since but it didn't help close the gap between his mother and him. It caused him to lash out in acts of rebellion. His aggressions were small at first, just enough to get his mother's attention just for a minute or two- then it just went downhill from there. He'd often sneak out and go to parties, always doing whatever he wanted. He'd come back drunk early in the morning to find his mother waiting for him to give him a piece of her mind. That only lasted a few times before Minerva completely stopped talking to him unless it was absolutely necessary. Klein doesn't remember when he began to blame her for his father's disappearance. While his reckless and rebellious attitude continued, Klein managed to pass his classes with flying colors. Sure, he loved to party and fool around with anyone that would have him but he didn't want to throw his life away just to get a few seconds of attention from his mother.
