Edit: It's done. Also [@Inertia] given that both are engineering students and loners Mikhail and Jason probably know each other, maybe a bit more than acquaintances but not exactly friends. In part, this is because he's not very good at opening with others, finding it better to keep them at a distance and cut them off if they become a problem. While he tends to look uninterested and often tends to take the route of least effort, every once in a while a project or math problem will catch his eye and he'll spend the following days tuning out everything that isn't related to it. Poker 【 PARANORMAL EXPERIENCE 】 It started the very moment he set foot outside the airport. Looking into the reflection of one of the many windows showed Mikhail a warped reflection of the real world. Instead of showing people moving around there were shadowy creatures, some more humanoid-looking than others. They took the same positions as their reflections and even attempted to mimic whatever action their counterpart was doing. Photos didn't seem to capture the effect and as far as he knew nobody else either cared or was able to see it. Mikhail still hasn't told anybody about it, as he thought it would be too much trouble to try to convince someone without looking like a lunatic, and because for now, the weird reflections were completely harmless. In an effort to try and understand the phenomenon he has been visiting the library in his free time looking for descriptions of similar events, or just sitting in crowded places and monitoring the creatures' actions. 【 BIOGRAPHY 】 Despite what his name might make people think Mikhail was born in America, though his mother was Russian and a native of Sonina before moving to the US during her teenage years. As such Mikhail was taught Russian from a young age and even came to visit Sonina a few times when he was a kid, though he has little to no memory of these events. Mikhail had a pretty average childhood, he spent a good deal of time taking apart whatever electronics he could grab and then trying to cobble it back together. From a young age, he was never good at making friends, preferring to either study, tinker with whatever device he had brought from home, or just daydream rather than playing with others. His anti-social attitude was always something that bothered his parents and one of the reasons they convinced Mikhail to take on that scholarship offer and go to Russia. Small towns are often more close-knit than your average urban city, and living alone on the other side of the world was bound to get him a new perspective on things.
