Penelope turned her head to look over her shoulder at Naida as her friend interrupt before Crow could respond. While she normally didn't mind her friend wanting to talk, she was beginning to think she'd make it difficult for them to speak privately. She was very curious to hear what Crow had to say and hoped that Naida's current behavior wouldn't continue into the time they needed to talk. The knight tuned back into the conversation as Naida winked playfully at Crow. Deciding to try and keep the mood light, she shot Naida an amused smirk. "Well actually Naida, Crow's technically my best friend." she pointed out. "So your argument is invalid." "What? You're in a relationship so that doesn't count!" Naida protested. "Why not? We may be romantically involved but we were also friends first." Penelope shrugged her shoulders and casted the viceroy a small smile. "Not everyone ends up with the best friend after all." Naida rolled her eyes. "Alright fine but I'm still your best friend that you're not going to marry." "I'll agree to that." Penelope laughed. Her smile slowly faded as the knight looked back ahead, eying their surroundings over once more. "But it would be a good idea for you to start working on working on watching your surroundings. Just because I'm here doesn't mean we should be slacking off. Especially since this is going to be your first mission out of the inner kingdom."
