Stands at 5'11" and weighs 172 lbs. His skin is fairly pale, which stands out further with his raven black hair that end in ember-like hues and fairly consistent darkish clothing.  Tends to wear loose, cotton clothing with a shawl/cloak/hood adornment, though it’s not always worn up unless he’s outside of the castle. Clothing is usually colored in dark reds and blues, with undertones of browns and blacks. His eyes have an almost unusual, ethereal glow, as though staring into them were akin to staring at burning wood. Even though his gaze appears intense and critical, it’s almost as though he sees past and were staring right through you.

Elijah is seen as a lone wolf, the kind of person who doesn’t interact with anyone and whose emotions are suppressed to a T.  No one ever really sees him smile or frown, always with the same neutral expression on his face.  He speaks with facts and honest opinion, usually to the detriment of his own existence at times.  Despite these circumstances, he’s practically unafraid to speak his own mind, and does so with brutal efficiency.

His emotions do seem to regulate his flow of mana however, as when he becomes more agitated or emotionally distraught, his skin becomes hot to the touch and his eyes flare stronger with that ethereal light. Fortunately, it takes a lot to get under his skin and years of practice have given him a firmer grip on both his emotional and mental state.

Elijah was raised in the Elven Kingdom of Z’Rosa, by his father who cared far too much for his line of work, and surrounded by a people who, despite allowing him to exist there, cared very little for his well being. During his early years, he struggled to grasp the basics of the arcane, often falling behind in his studies, behind the elves who viewed themselves higher and mightier than he, behind the legacy his father had built upon. If Elijah wasn’t falling behind in his studies, he was simply sick and bedridden. Even to his father, who’s own work mattered above all else, this was beyond unacceptable and if Elijah couldn’t be the Masterson he was destined to be, his father would force it so. The things that transpired in the Masterson Manse would have broken a normal man, it very nearly broke Elijah, and yet something changed in him.

Elijah had found the strength and resolve he had been lacking in, and not only caught up in his studies, but exceeded them beyond even his classmates and teachers comprehensions. At Twenty-Three he became and appointed member of the guild of magistrates, alongside his father, furthering his own studies into the arcane. When the letter came for his father to return home to be at the Emperor’s side once again, Elijah was instructed to go in his stead, as his work was far more important in Z’Rosa than it was in Aerowyn. Much to the Emperor’s chagrin, Elijah was begrudgingly accepted in the stead of his father to be one of his Imperial Advisors. Though their relationship had it’s rocky start, Elijah has become a most trusted advisor and valuable ally to the Emperor. His keen sense and intuition soon earned him a spot as becoming one of Ariella’s ‘Divine’. Though skeptical at this individual’s sudden rise to the title of goddess, the Emperor shall have what he wants, if not in the ways of magic, in the ways of an ever-present and omniscient goddess.

Mystical Ambassador and liaison to the Z’Rosian capital. Kenneth Masterson has spent his life studying the magical arts, exploring the land for it’s many secrets and uncovering the truth to life itself. Serving as one of the Emperor’s original advisors, he was tasked with becoming an ambassador to Z’Rosa to further their political relationship between their two kingdoms. During these most recent times of crisis however, when the Emperor ordered him back to Aerowyn, he realized his work would serve his kingdom far greater if he stayed in Z’Rosa, and sent his son, Elijah in his stead.[/hider]
