Admittedly, Blake would have been perfectly content staying alone in his cell, at least ever since that animal DNA in him had heightened his senses to a point where he was much too easily overwhelmed. He could pick up the breathing and footsteps of the guards as they walked by, and he could pretty accurately tell how far off they were and when they would be passing his cell. He could hear doors opening and shutting along the corridor, and without looking up, he knew that one had just stopped right in front of his. He heard the click of the key turning in the lock, yet the jittery teenager still flinched as the door swung open. The guard motioned for him to step out, with which he complied. Upon entering the dining room, Blake was hit with a plethora of scents coming from the buffet. He winced again at the overload, after which he slowly made his way to a seat at the table. He was rather surprised at the feast, not expecting it from an organization that was treating them as lab rats. He stared at the food for a long moment, hesitating to grab a bite with the smell already being a little too much for him. However, the red fluid oozing from a slab of steak he had caught sight of did seem quite tempting... He shook his head, snapping out of it. No, it must be all in his mind. He glanced around at the others at the table, meeting the gaze of a teenage girl with fried chicken at one point. He only nodded awkwardly and looked away. [@Always] [@KatherinWinter]
