"I don't want to date. I'm too busy." Of course she wasn't. In fact, Harper wasn't really sure why she didn't want to date - but she told herself that she didn't and that was that. It was probably an accurate assumption to assume that she was still being cautious and stubborn after finding out that the apparent love of her life had cheated. It wasn't pleasant to find out that you clearly weren't enough for somene. It stung. Alot. "And I'm sure your love life will pick up soon. With snazzy cufflinks like that, who could resist?" A small chuckle escaped the Detectives lips, but that's when her attention diverted elsewhere. Captain Scott appeared in the doorway. He was a tall man, and had a constitution that sugesstion he ate far too many doughnuts. "You guys are up. Get over to 5th and meet the medical examiner for me." And with that, he tossed the keys to the department SUV in her direction. Harper nodded and pocketed them. "Come on then." She turned back to Devin. "You wanna drive?"
