Of course the Detective was teasing Devin in response to his Mia problem, but it had just been too easy to get a kick out of it. Besides, if she'd thought about it, he'd already met her Mother in Walmart, but that wasn't important. Devin's bed was super comfortable, and she was actually pretty reluctant to leave it. And the fact that it smelt like him, helped a bunch too. How realistic was it that she could sneak it out when he wasn't looking? Not very realistic at all, actually. Still, a girl could dream. Or she could just buy a new bed. The world was her oyster.
