Syed just stared at Selan as she walked away with an expression very much reminicent of a kicked puppy, before he was dragged off by Moira. She was his last hope! However, once he looked away again his eyes unfocused as he subconciously brought a hand up to his neck. "Bingo!" Moira declared as they rounded the corner, finding that Selan was right. Around half a dozen wheelchairs in a line, folded up so they used less space. She quickly set upon trying to unfold one. She was having some difficulty though, partly because of her lack of dexterity and partly because she just couldn't figure it out. Syed pulled himself from his thoughts, looking back to Moira with a bit of a frown. "I'm sorry, Moira. I know you're dead set on this. But I'm not doing it." She snorted. "Why?" she asked, although it was said in a more accusational tone than a questioning one. "Are you determined to be miserable or somethin'?" Syed hugged himself a little and shifted his weight, frowning as he watched her struggle. "Look, I've broken enough for my liking you know? Maybe I just don't fancy..." he brought a hand up, rotating it a little with his palm facing upwards as he thought something up. It wasn't hard considering his nature. "Us falling down the stairs and breaking our necks, or us toppling over and breaking our necks, or hitting a kid when we go around a corner..." His eyes unfocused again for a couple of seconds. "...A combination of all three... we then collide into some spare gas canisters which explode..." "Fuckin' hell you're a ray of sunshine today," Moira huffed, breaking him from his paranoid train of thought. Syed had no idea why she hadn't thought of pushing the bright red release lever yet, considering the thing was clearly designed to make it as obvious as possible. "Although if you ask me that sounds awesome. Needs more punching though." Syed couldn't help but chuckle a bit at that despite himself. "Sorry. I appreciate you trying. But I'm happy on foot, and I'd rather not risk us getting kicked out or something." Moira rolled her eyes. "You'll change your tune when you get on it." She finally found the lever, the wheelchair springing open. "YES, GET IN THERE! Come on, get on." Syed's smile vanished entirely, and he started to look pretty irritated instead. "No." And when Moira stepped towards him he made a step backwards, his expression hardening a little. "And don't even try anything, alright? Can't we just... go back to our beds?" Moira gave out a great sigh. Syed didn't know anyone who could sigh quite as loudly as Moira could. All she wanted was a little fun! Something to ease the boredom. But again, he was here to piss on it all. "Fiiiiiine. You can push." Syed's eyes narrowed suspiciously. "Back to the ward?" "Yeah, I just fancy a ride," Moira said with a shrug as she sat down. The wheelchair creaked a little, but it was fine. With a sigh of his own he stepped behind her. Could he actually push this? He never had much strength when in full health, let alone now. Almost as if his body was proving a point, he found himself stopped by a great big yawn. Moira noticed. "SUCKER!" She grabbed the opportunity with both hands, seizing hold of the wheels and launched herself down the hallway - her upper body strength giving her an alarming amount of speed even with her injuries. Like hell was she going to give in! Fuck him! She had woken up long before he did - on the same day they were brought in - so she was the one who had to bloody sit around and wait for him! She was having her moment of fun and he could get bent! "M-Moira!" Syed exclaimed, scrambling after her with a wince. Oh hell no he was in no state to run, he really wasn't. At this rate she'll be dragging him about! Why couldn't she just act her age?!
