To be more accurate he himself does not change shape, his Demon Weapon form is a Lighter and he cannot change that fact, but rather the flames he produces can be moulded into different shapes. The amount of control he has over his flames varies depending on his own skill and the connection he has with his Meister; he finds the fire easier to control when he has a strong soul resonance with his partner and over time the number of forms he can take will grow as he becomes more skilled and imaginative. Strengths: - Variable weapon form - Skilled hand-to-hand combatant; knows Tae-Kwon Do and Kick Boxing - Cooking; mostly Korean foods and a few other small things Weaknesses: - Water; even a light rain can affect his ability to control his form and can dampen his offensive power - Cocky; can be overconfident in his or his partner’s abilities - Sore loser; Ji-Ho is a competitive person and can lose his composure at inopportune times Partner: Jackie Jett Soul Type and Appearance: Ji-Ho's soul doesn't look that different from a regular person soul, except that the tail is shorter and it's movements resemble that of a flickering flame. Weapon Appearance and Description: An ornately decorated lighter with a skull motif; the front and back are covered in small skulls of varying sizes and colours which, taken as a whole, form a larger image of a white skull on a black background. Personality: Confidence is the key trait that shines through when dealing with Ji-Ho. He is a very self-assured individual, very certain of himself, and it shows in how he carries himself and how he interacts with others; he finds it easy to deal with new people, rarely being flustered or showing nervousness and possessing an easy grace that makes him somewhat charismatic. At the same time he can come across as cocky to some and he does definitely cross the line into being too confident in himself at times. He has great confidence in his abilities as a fighter for example and doesn’t want to partner with anyone who he feels would hold him back. Ji-Ho is also somewhat vain; he cares about his looks a lot and likes to spend time making sure his appearance meets his own high standards. He can also be a little shallow, judging people by their appearance and by his first impression of them; however, it’s not their physical appearance that his judges, but rather the amount of effort they appear to have put into how they look. To Ji-Ho the amount of care one puts into their appearance is a good indicator for a lot of things. It is hard to make him change his mind from his first impression of someone. Backstory: Although Ji-Ho comes from a fairly long lineage of Demon Weapons, he is the first person in his family to attend DWMA. Originally from South Korea his parents moved to America not long after they were married and settled down in Northern California, his mother giving birth to Ji-Ho a few years later; in was in this environment that Ji-Ho was raised, the only child of an immigrant family from Korea. He has never been to his parents’ home country, though they always made sure he knew and understood the culture they came from, and it remains one of his life goals to visit South Korea at some point. When Ji-Ho first displayed the ability to turn into a Demon Weapon his parents explained everything to him; about Weapons and Meisters and Kishin and the people who fought them, about Lord Shinigami and Shibusen, also known as the Demon-Weapon Meister Academy or DWMA. They explained how even though their family had the potential to become weapons they had never joined Shibusen or partnered with a Meister because their Weapon forms were often impractical and not suited for battle; as a Demon Lighter Ji-Ho was not any different, but even so he was enamoured with the idea of fighting monsters and being a hero as any young boy would be. He wanted to join Shibusen and help fight the Kishin. He began to train from that day forward, convincing his parents to enrol him in martial arts lessons and letting him train to fight. In all likelihood they only allowed him to do so because they thought he would never be accepted with his Weapon form being what it was, something which backfired when Ji-Ho was accepted to the school anyway. Ji-Ho himself was determined to get accepted, regardless of what Weapon form he had; if no one would want to partner with a Lighter then he would just fight by himself, he would become strong enough by himself and make do without a Meister.
