Pushed to the outskirts of the newly developed city, they are forced to live in dirty slums where overpopulation is quickly taking its toll on those living there in the most deplorable conditions. Vampirism surfaced decades ago, something that doctors predicted would wipe out the entire planet - and they were half right. This viral disease didn't kill humanity, however, it transformed it into more resilient creatures. They would outlive any human by hundreds of years unless they had been previously cybernetically enhanced, the only remaining humans were all enhanced, to varying degrees. A certain vampire developed a synthetic blood formula, undoubtedly saving the vampire race entirely as their primary source of food was dwindling down to nothing. This technological discovery also helped humans indirectly, though they are still considered a delicacy to vampires and to those who have big enough balls to venture in the slums for a taste. Crime in the city itself is non-existent, at least at first glance. But in the slums, small gangs run black markets for cybernetic enhancements which is the sort of most of the chaos there. The current state of affairs gave rise to a military organization, unknown to humans and vampires alike. They threaten all forms of life, forcing the enlistment of humans in order to get rid of vampires entirely. Old enemies will have to work together in order to neutralize this threat. The awkward and certainly hostile state of the relationship between humans and vampires is sure to make this task very difficult, ye they have no other choice than to pull it together or they will see the destruction of their world as they know it.

City of Zedhan, 2146
The darkly lit alley was empty, save for two distinctive bodies huddled together for more than just warmth. Sharp teeth sunk down into warm flesh with little resistance. As soon as the tangy liquid filled the vampire's mouth, they trapped their pray between their body and the brick wall behind them. Hands clutched tightly around the victim's waist and offered no means of escape, though the attacker was much smaller in stature than the man they had sunk their teeth into. Flickering neon signs flashed against the very old structures that still stood in this area, though the state of it was subjectively beautiful and spoke of an era far less technologically advanced. More than one-hundred years after the ten year long war had erupted, the world had slowly begun building itself atop the rubble and ashes of the old world. Footsteps heard behind the two bodies alerted the vampire, their eyes shot open revealing deep emerald eyes turned red from the feed. The vampire turned to look at who dared to interrupt her midnight snack, their eyes immediately narrowed when they fell upon the familiar features. "Brother?" "Sister," he shot back, tight-lipped. His eyes scanned the human behind her sister, the disoriented and almost enthralled look in his face coupled with the pool of blood at the nape of his neck were very telling evidence of a feeding. "So, what brings you to this part of town with your," she paused, her eyebrow lifted up as she took in her brother's ridiculous attire. He had a long trench coat over his suit, his naturally blonde hair had been pulled up into an equally tasteless hat, "public masturbator trench coat?" She chuckled as blood dripped from her chin down to her crisp, white dress shirt. "Nothing you need to concern yourself with," He knew her all too well, she was going to harp and prod him until he spilled his guts - he'd rather not do that as everything was quite literal when it came to his sister and her dark humour. So, he did what he did best, irritate her to change the subject rapidly. "Why can't you do the humane thing and drink synthetic blood specifically created to keep us from having to subject ourselves, and our human neighbours," he nodded at the stumbling man behind his sister, "from such barbaric practices?" "Why do you always speak like an uptight britt? The world may never know," she shrugged with a grin.
If you have questions/suggestions let me know! I'm open to ideas and working with a CO-GM cause I feel this will require more than one mind to brainstorm.
