Her parents were business owners, but their profits weren't all that great. One day, a customer walked into the shop and the friendship that formed between the three adults would change the Vincent's lives forever. As it turns out, the customer, Hugh Winfield, was a lonely old man who was dying of a disease and sitting on roughly 25 million dollars with no one to pass it down to. The Vincents were so kind to the man that one day, he immediately went home and wrote them into his will. When Hugh passed, Monica and her parents went to his funeral. They were just about the only ones, save for Hugh's employees and assistants. The family was rather sad about his passing, especially Monica. She was only 13 and acted out as a coping mechanism, but soon enough she straightened herself out and continued to work hard at school in order to fulfill her dreams of becoming a doctor. Aside from school, Monica is currently an intern at the Office of the Medical Examiner. Anyway, I'm thinking Monica and Frank had a thing in the past, and he had her help the team out and that was the start of an even more stressful life for Monica.
