Even as the clanging of bells filled the air Sumi ignored it and examined the edge. She bit at her lip as she thought. Her hand running along the edge, and then a tentative foot placed out into the open air searching. Sumi looked much like she had at the top of the castle. She seemed to get increasingly frustrated as she found only empty air. "How far are we from the tangle?" She asked Astrid, having to yell over the sound of the bells. She was certain after this if she wasn't partially deafened she would always hear the sound of bells. Kade tried to give her a reassuring smile, but it looked much like how he felt, nervous and painful. Christopher had already moved to plug his ears and was pleasantly surprised when it seemed to lessen the noise. As for the bells there seemed to be no direction it came from. What might have been a blessing in the beginning as it had driven away the sounds that called the group to their homes it was no only a nuisance. But then as Astrid went to speak, her voice loud to overcome the sound of the bells it cut off. Stopped and gone. Though it didn't end the ringing in any of their ears.
