He doesn't have any especially prevalent nicknames but will respond to almost anything. Age: 15 Gender: Male Role: Meister Special Trait: Durability: When it comes to resisting damage and tanking hits, Tony is second to none. Knives can rarely pierce his skin, and even other meisters would have a very difficult time keeping him down. His primary method of fighting is simply running straight at an opponent and ramming into them with his weapon since smashing into walls or objects doesn't hurt him. Strengths: Vicious: Tony rarely resorts to it due to his personality, but when push comes to shove, he is willing to do nearly anything to win. Throwing sand, biting ears, and even gouging out eyeballs with his fingers. Tony does not like doing these things, however, since it hurts his reputation and reminds him of his past. Speed: Tony can't handle it very well, but he can go pretty fast when he wants to. While he isn't the fastest student in his class, he is very close. His acceleration isn't the best though, so it takes a few seconds to get to his maximum speed. Accommodating: Tony will do his best to support anyone he works with, usually willing to take the brunt of group work without complaint. He goes to great lengths to make others feel comfortable and safe and usually tries to take leadership positions because of this. He especially loves to comfort and spoil his classmates, usually by doing things for them when asked. Because of all this, he will usually be far more effective at something if he believes he is doing it for someone else and is far more effective alongside allies. Weaknesses: Poor Reaction Time: Arguably Tony's worst disadvantage, he is unable to react to changing circumstances nearly as fast as other meisters. Attacking especially fast opponents can leave him unable to react to attacks, and it is very difficult to fight while he is moving at full speed. Honor: Against opponents who haven't done anything especially heinous or hurt his classmates, Tony is extremely unwilling to actually harm them. He always chooses to use nonlethal actions if he can, and will only go all out if it is to protect people. This generally makes him one of the weakest meisters offensively speaking, unless he is attacking an opponent he deems appropriately foul and willing to actually use lethal force. Maneuverability: While Tony can move at fast speeds, turning at full speed is almost impossible. This makes Tony near useless offensively in small spaces against more agile enemies, and chasing enemies becomes far more difficult in areas like forests. This combined with his poor reflexes makes especially agile opponents very dangerous against Tony. Partner: Anemone Fulgar Soul Type and Appearance: Normal soul. Tony's soul is a light yellow and wears glasses. It seems to have a strained smile and seems to almost always be moving. Appearance: Tony is incredibly particular about his appearance, only ever wearing professional attire when given the choice. Semi-casual clothing is the best he can do in nonformal situations - of course, in combat or PE class he usually wears sweats or a tracksuit, since he does not want to perform worse in combat for the sake of being professional. He stands at 5'8 (173 cm) and weighs 170 pounds (77 kg) - while he is average height, he is very insecure about it and it is one of the easiest ways to upset him. He has a very good posture to try and compensate. Personality: Tony is an extremely hardworking and driven person, focused entirely on helping the people around him and helping them grow to their ultimate potential. He absolutely hates letting people fail to achieve what they want to do and will go as far as doing other people's work for them. He is very accommodating and likes to make people in his class feel comfortable and safe. In fact, he motivates himself during training by pretending his imaginary opponents insulted one of his classmates or few friends. Tony spends most of his time volunteering or training himself as a Meister. As a result, his grades have stagnated - they are one of the things he absolutely refuses to share with others, and talking about it is only left as a last resort to make a classmate feel better about their poor scores. He has tried on several occasions to start a study group, but he has very few friends so this endeavor almost always ends up failing. Tony is very self-conscious when it comes to his reputation. People who remember him from his past schools are usually scared of him thanks to his past actions, and Tony goes to great lengths in order to try and apologize to them. Usually, these measures include giving them money from his part-time job or begging forgiveness on his hands and knees. He would give anything to find the person that he injured badly and incited the change in his personality, so he could apologize to them. He is very desperate to be accepted and to be approved of by others - this makes him come across as uncomfortably needy and attention-seeking (which he is). When dealing with someone especially rude and dangerous, Tony starts to regress to his old behavior. He will usually get very physical and close to the transgressor, and the wrong words can quickly lead to Tony starting a fight with them. Tony always feels awful after these events, even if the person he fought was trying to hurt him. Backstory: Tony grew up in Death City his entire life, but he used to be far different than he is now. Until early in his middle school career he was a horrible delinquent, and very quick to anger. His home life didn't help much, as both of his parents were bad influences - and they even encouraged most of the things he did, saying it would make him strong. He regularly spraypainted his old schools with crude drawings of assault, smoked cigarettes that his parents gave him, and got into fights nearly every day. His reputation was extremely poor and he was infamous in his old schools, but everything changed in his first year of middle school. In one of his near-daily fights, Tony knocked out the student he was fighting, causing them to fall and smash their head onto the curb. While the damage was very superficial, the amount of blood and possible danger of permanent damage greatly traumatized Tony. The student ran away shortly after and seemed to be either too intimidated to press charges or simply never thought of it since nothing came out of the fight - they moved three months later. Ever since realizing that he has been hurting people for years, Tony tried everything in his power to make up for it. He spent most of his free time either working at his part-time job or doing volunteer work around the city. These efforts were taken to a new extreme when his baby sister was born a few months later since Tony wanted to be a good influence for her. After making it into DWMA, Tony quickly joined the Student Council and did his best to create a new persona for himself, trying to make people think he's changed. His dream is to one day become Student Council President, and given his hardworking nature, it wouldn't be hard to believe he will reach that dream quickly. While Tony was certainly excited to finally be in DWMA, quite a few students seemed to remember how vulgar and violent Tony was. Those that didn't were either quickly warned by the wiser students, or were turned away by Tony's rapidly growing desperate and clingy nature. By this point, Tony was coming under the impression that he would never find a partner at the academy. However, he didn't take into account a girl named Anemone Fulgar. While she was rude and occasionally electrocuted him, she never directly said no to his inquiries on becoming partners. After annoying her enough, she finally agreed. While Tony isn't fond of her laziness, he refuses to comment on most of the things she does that he doesn't approve of, and Anemone is one of the few people that Tony refers to on a first-name basis.
