Already she felt safer, looking at Detective Ramirez and Detective Gold. Nodding she stepped aside and let the two officers inside. "My name's Annabelle. You- you can call me Annie. If you want." She said amiably, though clearly still flustered. She was going to have to report on how she basically left a little girl to fend for herself. Hopefully they wouln't think two lowly of her. Annie gestured at a nearby couch and a couple of big chairs. She took a seat on one. "You can take a seat if you want." She offered. "Um, okay, so, I was taking my dog Doug for a walk," she pointed at the furry creature who could not care less that two people had entered his home, ",and I saw this guy in his car talking to this girl. I walked over to see what was happening, cause they didn't look related. He called me out, though, I think he knew me by name. Then he...well, he wanted both of us to get into his car. He, I dunno. I don't know what he did. He disoriented me somehow, I don't know. I fell over and then...uh, ran away. Then I came here and called the police." She summed up experience quickly as possible, though was being both intentionally and unintentionally vague about some parts of what had happened.
