’Like Tinker Bell? Come on, get a better nickname…’ she thought to herself. Cassiopeia shifted in her seat. Obviously Tink knew of the letters, she spoke of them, knew her name, she said it and knew her parents. Cassiopeia was inclined to believe her. ”Did you send the letters? What danger was it talking of?” She glanced at Colby once but was decidedly more interested in the pretend fairy. Early today, when they had first gotten the letter, Cassiopeia could have cared less about getting to know her parents but as the day had worn on and Layla talked about it, the more interested she had become. Now, knowing that they had answers close at hand, there was nothing Cassiopeia wanted more than to know who her parents were and where they were. She had many questions for them. Her mind was already racing with them. This betrayal was different though. It wasn’t a simple act of growing up and learning, losing innocence. This was a complete break of trust and confidence. Everything she knew was a lie, how she was raised had been fabricated. She didn’t feel any comfort or warmth in this moment. She felt as if she had been hollowed out. Sierra even grabbed her hand, giving it a comforting squeeze. Willow felt a small shock go up her arm but she ignored it, pulling her hand away from Sierra’s to pull into the parking lot. Willow looked confused at the scene before them. She thought her eyes were blurry and rubbed the corners of her eyes but what she saw was clear. Two people were on the ground, knocked out Willow hoped and three other people standing around the scene. Willow got out of the car and locked it once everyone was out. She walked behind Sierra, leaving space still. It wasn’t a good thing to see two bodies on the ground and the possible assailants still there. Willow was strong and had a kick boxing background and although it could be easily used for combat and she knew how, it had merely been for exercise. She didn’t want to fight, she had just gotten a fresh manicure the other day. Plus there was the emotional trauma she was still reeling from.
