The sound of his cards being picked up or her walking towards him getting lost in his own mind as he panicked on what to do next. Eyes darting about like a wild animal cornered and looking for escape. He found a metallic box at the same height and began to wonder if he could use it to climb up and over the wall. That thought lasted for about a second as he immediately began to wonder about this metallic box seemingly placed upon the wall. Did girls not flush their toilet paper? Were men not supposed to either? He'd heard about how some things could clog up the pipes and were bad for plumbing, could this be one of them? If not, what other purpose could this possibly serve? His mind began to rattle off ideas as his anxiety lessened and lessened and before he realized it the breathe he had been holding was finally released. Maddy heard the girl speak, asking what he knew about her parents and reminding him of where he was. "Sadly I dont know much. The woman out there, her name is Tink. She says we're all from some other land where time moves differently and that we are the descendants of fairytale people. My father was...is the Mad Hatter, she's Tinkerbell, and I narrowed your parents down to be either Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, or Robin Hood. It's hard to tell based solely on appearances but I do have a knack for this sort of thing." He stood up and moved towards the stall door, hearing Colby calling from the outside. "Please, could I have my deck back? And if you could avoid stabbing me that'd be great too...I'd like to live out this adventure with someone I like..." his voice was low enough for her to hear but hopefully not Colby. Hearing his voice gave him back some courage he didnt have before, it gave him something to live for.
