[color=bc8f8f]Upbringing Synopsis[/color] Born in Borgarnes in a fishing town of a little over 2,000 to Grimur Runarsson and Krisjanna Jonsdottir Gunnar is an only child because his father a fisherman was lost at sea and his mother never remarried.

Api's mother was a member of the Lögregla or Icelandic Law Enforcement till her sister Marga Jonsdottir / Cummings and her Husband Richard Wendell Cummings died in a tragic plane crash when Api was 15. With no heirs other than Api and his mom to leave the Shipping and Fishing Company North Star Passage Inc. to an the care of their 3 daughters Mari, Katrin, and Ursa aged 4 (Triplets) as well Api's mother moved to her sister's former home.

The girls or Alfur (Fairies) as Api calls them were as expected brokenhearted but soon adopted their cousin Api as their big brother and he warmed quickly to his role. Api had to play catch up on a few courses in the Private school he was enrolled which the Alfur also attended but as a driven student he was soon comfortably in the top 2% in his year. 

An Athletic type Api is still short for his age but perfectly fitted to gymnastics
