She was a remarkably attractive woman, who lived beyond her means, but he was too young to understand that. Too young to understand the maxed credit cards, the constant drinking, and the use of his innocence, as her alibi. He would never lie on her account, but he didn't know any better. He didn't know... 

He came to her with an open heart, but to her, he was a mouth to feed, an ass to wipe, and the killer of her dreams. Each year, he started to realize something new about her and that daunting feeling that his mother never loved him slithered into every fiber of his being. By the age of six, his mother had ran off with another man, and although he still wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, he came to terms with losing the person that's supposed to love him unconditionally. Although his father wasn't the fun parent, and couldn't tend to every single one of his family's needs, he was [i]trying[/i]. And constantly worked his ass off to provide. 

The worst chapter of L's life was over, or so he thought. Well, it was good for his father, anyways. Shortly after the devastating betrayal and divorce, thankful he didn't lose his child, Chester Page met a woman that treated him right, his soulmate, who made him feel good and gave him something he didn't have before. Support, stability, and sympathy. Meredith Montgomery. Unfortunately, as all that was happening, Lance started getting severly bullied at school. A development due to how Lance held himself and how he made friends with all the girls in his class. Boys didn't like that. No, not at all.

Chester's romance with Meredith was fast, and Lance could see how his father admired Meredith for being a single mother trying her damnedest, just like him. They were both struggling, single parents, and together, they could support each other in ways they couldn't alone. It didn't take long before Lance was introduced to Meredith's daughter. Lilliana. And from that point on, his life changed for the better. 

Their parents were hard working, middle class folk, and what they didn't notice, she did. Lily helped him cope, and even went out of her way to find a vintage sewing machine for him, both of them putting down the allowance they saved up to get it for him. She gave him the fire and light he needed to feel confidant with himself, to be okay in his skin, and honestly, to smile without pretending. Thanks to his Lily he was reborn.

Clinging to her, as he always has, Lance blossomed into an outrageously outgoing and audaciously friendly, flamboyant, delight. High school was the years he felt his true self, though he was still bullied, and had moments where he felt like he was going to collapse. Regardless, he's rather talented with his hands and has a lovely eye with making pretty things. At least, that's what his teachers tell him, especially after seeing Lily's prom dress he made from scratch. It's obvious, life's far from ideal, but that's okay because he has her and she has him.

Due to incidents, he has been put on antidepressants since junior year of high school and has been seeing a therapist frequently, but, no one knows that besides his family. He prefers hiding his damage behind vibrant colors and laughs. Of course, none of this would've been possible without Lily, and so, while she pursues her dreams and gets her college degree, he too will go with her and follow his dreams, but with her. Together, at Meadow University. [/color][/indent]
