Hi guys! The idea below is one that has been inspired by my millionth playthrough of Skyrim and something I'm very excited at trying with you! I'll list all the boring stuff down at the end of this post in a hider so you can read the idea first and see if you're interested. If you are, awesome! If you're not, feel free to read the hider labeled "Not interested?". With that... Skyrim: The Fall of Legend: For ten years after the defeat of Alduin, Skyrim enjoyed a brief period of relative peace under the rule of High King Ulfric Stormcloak. There were attempts at insurrections, corruption at different levels of government and ferocious beasts that continually prowled the hills, but for a land that had seen a bloody civil war, Elven incursion and dragons, it did well. Many wondered where the Dragonborn had disappeared to after defeating Alduin, no one having had the chance to lay eyes on the mythical figure since the coronation of the High King, at which the Dragonborn stood proudly next to the ruler whom they had helped conquer the forces of the Imperials with. Some speculated that the Dragonborn had ascended to Sovengard due to their near supernatural state. Others spread fables of the Dragonborn's conquests in lands that reached far beyond the continent. Many still believed that they had seen the Dragonborn at their local inn, carousing with the wenches and singing long-forgotten ballads with bards. Speculation ceased when, early Tirdas morning ten years after the defeat of Alduin, the Dragonborn's corpse was found at the gates of Whiterun. The once proud pieces of armor the hero wore was a patchwork of burns, dried blood and acidic stains, one eye gouged out and a dagger embedded in their chest with a note attached to the handle that read: "The future of Skyrim is in our hands." Panic ensued, Jarls were roused from their thrones and the people sought to blame whoever they could for such a tragedy. Chaos would only increase as in the proceeding weeks, various Thanes and individuals of note would turn up at the gates of towns, doors of inns and even at the foot of Jarl's homes in the same condition as the Dragonborn with the same cryptic note. Skyrim was being assaulted from the shadows, but for what purpose? To what end? This kind of destabilization was a damper on business to innkeeper Drago Malifica, a Redguard who had taken over ownership of the Frostfruit inn in Rorikstead three years ago from a former Imperial and his son who decided to head to Cyrodil. Yet, one quiet afternoon in the most "boring hamlet in all the world", a courier delivers a letter in an elucidated script from an old friend that begs for Drago to meet her outside of Falkreath because of a danger that "threatens the very concept of life itself". With letter still in hand, Drago hears the door to his inn open once more, an individual crossing over the threshold who would change the course of his life in ways he would have never thought possible...
Happy to hear! There's a lot of flexibility when it comes to where we can go with the plot, which we can absolutely discuss. What I'd be looking for from you is to be that person walking into the inn. Because this is a 1x1 forum, I'd be looking for someone to play a female with a romance option potentially down the line (because I'm a sucker for romance). I have some ideas for the character to partner up with Drago, but I'd love to hear your ideas first! Some other details if you'd like to know them: -I'm flexible about post length/duration of time between posts, but ideally I'd love to keep this at a pace of three posts a week? I've found that if it's more than that, one or both of us get burnt out and if less, then the thread gets forgotten. Again, totally flexible because I've got a family, job, school and all other matters of life and completely understand if you need to go dark for a couple of weeks to get life in order. Just let me know if you need to take a hiatus and I'll do the same for you. -Because this thread involves romance, I'll just say now that I'm also flexible about fade to black; however, I do draw a line when it comes to going beyond a certain point in the act. I'll explain what I mean if/when we get to that point in the story. -Please please please talk! I love hearing ideas from my writing partner, collaborating on story arcs and just making sure the story is going where we want it to. -I prefer PM for this story arc just because it might have some stuff that's not forum appropriate.

Hey, no worries! I'm open to ideas in this vein: -Resident Evil (the games) -Medieval Fantasy -Steampunk/Cyberpunk Don't have anything fleshed out, but if you have a narrative arc/story you want to try, let me know and we can work it out from there!
