[*]Clothing Style: She spends a lot of time training, so she is usually seen in tracksuits when around the university. However, she does have the ability to dress up when needed. For parties where she is trying to attract even more attention than she does, she has a couple little short dresses she likes to bust out. She knows how to work it. [*]Makeup Wise: She's proficient with foundation, but relies on her natural beauty to carry her looks, so it's mostly clear lip gloss and light mascara. [*]Scars, Tattoos and/or Piercings: She has multiple piercings in her left ear, usually adorned with gold rings, and a single piercing in her right ear, though that could change in the future. There is a basic blue and gold outline Hawks tattoo on her left shoulder.
Personality Traits
Anyone who knows Jade Scott knows that this is a girl who can not be stopped. Once she decides she's going to do something, she will not rest until she accomplishes that goal. Usually that goal is goals, but even in getting back to shape following her injury, getting that invite onto the US Women's team, she is driven to achieve whatever she needs to do to get to the next step. Which is why her exclusion from the team heading to Tokyo has been a little tough to take. There was only other time she felt this low, and that was as she spent months hobbling around her Denver-area home with a giant brace on her leg. The invite to the party was initially accepted out of obligation to the host, but maybe this is the opportunity Jade needs to start thinking outside of soccer a bit. She only chose a degree in Sport Medicine so she could continue to work in soccer after she was done playing soccer. What if there is more to life than that?
Upbringing Synopsis
Jade Scott was born April 10, 1999 in Rifle, Colorado to an athletic family. Her mother Courtney was a track star in Arvada, while her father Vaughn spent two seasons on the Broncos' practice squad as a running back. Jade was introduced to sports at a young age and quickly took to the local soccer program in Rifle. She took to it very well. Too well. It became clear she was combining her mother's speed with her father's footwork to devastating results for the rest of the kids in town. When she was 10, the Scotts moved to Denver to give Jade a shot to play against some real competition. It didn't matter. Jade kept dusting the competition. The Golden Girl was the subject of local stories, a challenger to the records of Mia Hamm and Kristine Lilly. Then she tore her ACL in her senior year of high school. That sucked. The universities she had her eyes set on spurned her, in fear that she would not be able to hit those speeds she did before. Only Meadow University kept its offer of a full ride intact, and it was her grades that basically kept her on their radar. However, it was a decision that Hawks fans would not regret. Jade came back strong as ever, blitzing the competition and pouring in goal after goal. She planted herself back on the soccer map, but was not rewarded with a call up to the senior women's team. So this year is going to spent getting even better to make it so they can't possibly refuse to call her up in the future.
Misc.
Mallory Pugh | 9F1F19 - Jade can talk a mile a minute if you get her going on the right topic, which makes her a very interesting podcast guest. - Before every game, she eats the same meal of chicken carbonara, and listens to the same song, "1,2,Step" by Ciara featuring Missy Elliot, three times. - Because the team she suffered the injury against was called the Wolverines, she cannot stand the sight of them...if she ever saw one of them. Are they like a wolf-bear-cat thing? - Favorite rom-com? Um... 10 Things I Hate About You?
