It was as if she spoke of the devil, [u]Maribel Eclipse[/u] entered the conversation with a request to join. Jane's heart dropped and allowed [u]Léon[/u] to respond to her.

Jane did not even bother thinking about how to exclude [u]Maribel[/u] from the party. It was practically guaranteed that the Mayonite Paladin was going with them. All Jane thought about now was how to not give herself away to not one, but two Mayonites for the entirety of this job. She cursed silently. How did things end up like this? She should have just flat out refused [u]Léon[/u]. She could still, all she needed to do was spin a believable lie.

But Jane felt abandoning them now would be of bad taste and besides, either of them could suspect something and Jane could not risk that. She was all in on this job now. Hopefully, everything would go smoothly and the party can go back into being strangers.

Jane took a glance at the adventurers. It looked like every one of them has already joined a party and taken a job. "[color=mediumpurple]...I don't know who else is available.[/color]" Jane remarked honestly. Conveniently, it was also a way to keep the party from expanding.
