The proprietor left and came back with food for the Archer Girl. He got the feeling they'd be feeling their heavy meal in the morning. Still, the inn-keeper went to the counter with his coin then came back with a placard. It felt slightly magical and it clearly hung on the doorknob. Maybe when the door was closed it kept unaware people from fiddling? Eh he'd figure it out. Druid Girl spoke up, albeit muffled by food mush, about cleaning up. They had cleaned up earlier, did humans get that dirty in a few hours? Meh. The two finished eating and up they went. Both of the girls bidding him good night. "Sleep well, we'll be turning this in as soon as the guild opens." He said before going down the hall. He glanced at each doorknob and finally arrived at the corner room. It was free, so he opened it and hung the wooden placard on. It was a decent room for fifteen coppers. But it wasn't set up how he'd like it to be. So he got a little extra work. The bed went under one of the windows, so if anyone tried sneaking in they'd land pretty much right on top of him and wake hip up. The other had the blanket hung up so no one could see in. The little side table was placed under that window with easily moved objects that would fall and make a racket. Lastly he tied a length of rope from the doorknob to the leg of the bed. The colder night air didn't bother him and his clothes were warm enough. His room was burglar proof unless there was a secret door someplace. But humans didn't do that in cheap inns...possibly. So with that the big red lizardman laid in bed and immediately passed out. He was always quick to sleep, and even quicker to rise when something was making a racket.
