As the group made their way through the first three gym battles, they grew to know each other better. Kjolmar became less suspicious of Lark while improving his bond with Aro even further. Neo only seemed to show interest in Luna for now and pretty much ignored everyone else. Tweener proved himself to be rather naughty and loved playing tricks on others, in particular on Shade, Shutter and Flash. 

Upon arrival at the city of Hammerlocke, the group overhears that the trainer Bede is collecting wishing stars for Chairman Rose in order to save Galar. As they learned earlier, the wishing stars are the energy source for the Dynamax bands.
