I was debating between going down the typical speedster route (accidentally discovering the speed force through an experiment inspired by the Flash family) or to make a gravity type character.

For the speedster, I was thinking that they dabbled into it after being saved by one of the Flash peeps. Researched into the speed force and made his own experiment. It kind of failed in a way that landed with him unable to sustain control for more than a few minutes or else he risks being absorbed into the speed force or transported elsewhere. However, the way he uses it is through short but powerful bursts of speed. He's a hard hitter and a very in-your-face fighter. He utilizes electricity for even more damaging hits. Likely is working on stabilizing his control over the speed force.

For the graviton, I was thinking that she wouldn't really be all that new to using her powers and while she isn't a true master of it (certainly can't make stars or anything like that) but she's good enough to influence an entire area with her gravity. Though she's best at picking a particular point to either attract or repulse, condensing a lot of her power on a single go for devastating results. However, excess use of her power can lead to lost of control and some pretty big consequence. Generally, she's a pretty chill character out of combat.
