He was a bit surprised to notice how he didn't seem to be straining his eyesight at all, despite the lingering darkness, but he didn't comment, and let the man look as he pleased. There was nothing in this particular sketchbook that he wouldn't want Geralt to see. He let out a small chuckle at the compliment, the sorrow in his eyes slowly dissipating as he was offered a distraction from his previous line of thoughts.
