MP-2011-JB is a caucasian-germanic male, who stands at 177cm of height, with a thinly built body and narrow proportions, and weight 67.3kg last measured [VOID]. His hair is a medium-dark brown, and he has fast growing facial hair of the same colour. His eyes are a grey-brown, matching File #MP2011JB-21 (Iris Photography, Forensics Dept.). His facial structure is best described as narrow, matching the rest of his build. MP-2011-JB's body does not bear any particular scarification, though he does have a set of tattoos on his right arm, comprising text in the fictional Tengwar alphabet which reads 'get rekt normie' in English once translated; the rest of this tattoo is composed of 'Elven' style decorative patterns, drawn from the same fictional setting of JRR Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings'.

 
Background:
MP-2011-JB was born on the 1st of December, [VOID], the fifth and final child of an otherwise remarkable, if affluent, upper-middle class family in [VOID], Germany. His early life was comfortable, though from his school reports it can be surmised that he had a tendency to seek attention in both the educational and home enviroments, and that this tendency quickly developed into poor and deviant behaviour in order to gain it. It is the belief of the Psychological Evaluation team that this stems from MP-2011-JB's perception that he was neglected by his parents in favour of his more overtly promising brothers and sisters - this is borne out by his eventual severance of contact with them in adulthood. 

In spite of whatever his experiences as a young child were, his parents were quick to medicalise the problem, and sought the attention of medical professionals regarding his poor behaviour early on; MP-2011-JB was prescribed [VOID], a chemical stimulant licensed for use in paediatric [VOID], which he has since related that he enjoyed but did not find particularly helpful. After medical therapy proved ineffective, he was given talking therapy, but before long began to resist the positive influence of his therapist, describing him as a 'stooge', a 'goon', and a 'fraud'. Eventually, however, his parents were able to find a potentially positive avenue for him to focus his energy, at the same time as being able to largely pacify his destructive tendencies; Computers.

From the age of 13, MP-2011-JB had ready and reliable access to modern and powerful computing technologies, and the natural consequence of this was that he quickly developed a keen interest and talent for this field of work. For a time, his performance at school saw an improvement, and the previously problem child MP-2011-JB was beginning to show his academic potential - but as with all the other productive parts of his life, MP-2011-JB quickly subverted it. 

By age 17 he had developed an online persona and frequented bulletin board sites relating to the practice of hacking, dabbling frequently in actively malicious activities himself. The majority of these illegal activities were essentially novel forms of prankster tricks - though when his parents began to restrict his allowance in the hopes that he would get a job he would gradually drift towards hacking for profit - and his internet identifier gained a modicum of reputation for his creative and intricate virtual-practical jokes and scams. This was the point at which 'b37ruG3r' first came into being - this being hacker jargon (also known as leetspeak [read; elite speak] or l33tsp34k) for the German word Betrüger, meaning a cheat, a swindler, or a deceiver.  MP-2011-JB's online identity would evolve over the next decade, eventually dropping the character substitution of 'leetspeak' and changing the meaning behind the word. After he developed his powers at the age of 20, he made significant efforts to sever the connection between his Betrüger personality and his new one, known as Beobach - itself derived from the German word Beobachten, meaning To Observe. Betrüger had been a trickster with a reputation for petty injustices and malfeasance whereas, despite their similarities, Beobach had a darker and more serious reputation as an information control specialist and unethical hacker.

MP-2011-JB was able to evade detection by the [VOID] for four years after the development of his abilities, before he came up as an incidental finding during the course of a [VOID] cybersecurity investigation in [VOID]. For three months he then evaded pursuit before slipping off the radar completely, and remaining incognito for a further year and a half before he re-emergence and subsequent capture, during a complicated plan to defraud a major bank of [VOID]. It is currently believed that his last gambit was a plan to obtain enough financial security to last him a further [VOID], so that he could remain underground long enough for what he believed to be regular law enforcement to stop looking for him. Though he did not come quietly, after becoming used to his confinement he eventually admitted that it was a relief to finally be caught. 
 
Powers:
Technempathy - The Intuitive and Innate understanding of the workings of technology and computers, as well as the ability to intuitively understand the contents of and data stored within said devices, as long as it is not in some way deliberately inaccessible. This power allows MP-2011-JB to understand binary in the same (or at least a similar) manner as he would a native language. This ability seems to be reliant on either proximity (up to 6m maximum in regular test environments, 'signal strength' dependent on distance) or the ability to perceive the relevant device with his mundane senses - though connections between two distinct devices can be used for the same purpose, with the 'signal strength' weakening for every degree of separation between MP-2011-JB and the new device.

Technobiological Interface - The ability to control and manipulate computers and technology by power of thought alone, including the use of such devices in manners not intended by their manufacturers, such as for the purposes of hacking or manipulation. It is for this ability's sake that MP-2011-JB has been designated Purple, and thus contained purely by way of conventional, physical means. The laws that govern MP-2011-JB's ability to interface with technology seem to be related directly to those that govern his ability to form empathic links to technology.

[NOTE: Subject MP-2011-JB has repeatedly requested computing devices, airgapped for security, to use for personal leisure - requests which have at every turn been denied. These requests were initially for highly specific computing machines, designed for gaming and image processing, with powerful and expensive components - indeed, MP-2011-JB's requests even included specific part manufacturers; after three consecutive requests and attempts at negotiation despite categorical denial, MP-2011-JB was put through Discipline (see Incident Log #MP2011JB-3-2), and for a time refrained from making further requests - however, MP-2011-JB eventually began to submit more requests, gradually asking for less and less as they were denied again and again. Even after two further Discipline procedures, Subject MP-2011-JB would eventually return to asking for computers, in stark contrast to his normal behaviour which is best described as cowardly and appeasing. After his most recent request (Quote: "Raspberry Pi Zero W. Or anything. Just give me something. Please, dude, seriously, I don't even need batteries.") theories began to circulate that his motives for acquiring even functionally useless hardware might not be for mundane or habitual reasons. Blood tests and electroencephalography taken shortly after one of MP-2011-JB's most recent requests have highlighted a constant stress response not unlike some more generic forms of drug withdrawal symptoms in addicts, which is now believed to be related to his prolonged isolation from computer devices.

In light of this and under advisement from Site B's medical department, denial of MP-2011-JB's requests will continue as normal, with the following modifications:

[UPDATE: MP-2011-JB has denied talking therapy, but is partially controlling his symptoms with medical therapy. Withdrawal of punishment has been met favourably by MP-2011-JB. Frequency of denied requests has fallen from 2.6/month to 1.2/month. Medical are satisfied with MP-2011-JB's progress and are planning to follow up his medication in six weeks. Psychotherapy will be re-offered in three months.]
