Princess Adila suddenly backs up, thoughts of spheres dropping from her mind, and almost gets her tail bit by the lurking bat. A year ago she would have been far less serious than she was now in the face of this - back when that sword was just one of the hundreds of boring pieces of metal she had to polish and sing little lullabies to whenever the roster put her on Armoury.
