Allanon clenched his teeth over the sounds below. When he witnessed Kistal perform his magic he was very much reminded of his old team's curse-user. Even though the components and incantations were entirely different, and she refused to acknowledge her magic as curses, the effects were clear and dramatic. What amazed Allanon further was when Kistal decided to skip past using the rope and simply jumped the entire distance down. A jump like that would destroy any humans legs if not more. Very familiar with scaling down vertical surfaces, Allanon quickly and firmly prepped his rope to hastily rappel down onto the archer's platform. As soon as he landed his throwing hand settled over his throwing knife bandoleer, and he got into a position where he could cover the stairs to cover for Bidzil as he came down the cliffside. Kistal's efforts would provide quite a distraction giving a great advantage for Bidzil and Allanon. It was a shame his actions preempted the distraction team's actions, but a two-pronged attack on their part would be effective enough. He could understand and empathize with Kistal's actions to rescue the girl from her attacker, however, his hasty actions also could have compromised the mission. All would be made clear on that before too long though. It all depended on the bandit's reaction.
