Azaris
Conceptual
Domain: Stealth
Azaris knows that one’s importance does not come from their name, face or voice, but only out of the effect one had on the world around them. The inherent need of mortals to be remembered is born out of pettiness and vanity, and those who parade their great deeds through the streets are not heroes, but cowards who give in to these base desires. Rather, the best lives are those lived out of the perceptions of others; Azaris offers a shroud all that wish to remain cloaked from the outside world. One need not be heard to exert influence. One need not be seen to be important. And one need not be known to exist.
Portfolio: Silence
Silence is more than merely the physical lack of sound. Rather, silence is a choice beings make when they forsake their inherent desire to be heard, the discarding of one’s voice, temporarily or permanently, in order to better serve their actions. In this way, Azaris can control silence as both a piercing muffle and a protective shroud. Whether avoiding detection in a dangerous location, concealing personal schemes from the prying ears of others, or muting those whose speech could harm you, silence is a powerful force in the world.
Realm
Azaris’ realm is known as The Veil. To any being but Azaris, it appears only as an infinite blackness in all directions. Additionally, no sound of any sort can travel through the Veil, meaning communication must be done by other means. Azaris reserves the ability to unveil any object in her realm at will, rendering it visible to others if the need arises. The actual form of the realm is a beautiful city of purple and black, sharp spires and ornately designed stairways dominating the landscape. The pathway into Antiquity is a swirling blue portal, hidden in the same way as the rest of the city. She takes no joy in causing suffering and avoids it when possible, but she is still very much willing to step outside the bounds of traditional morality when the situation calls for it. Azaris, in her dealings with others, tends to be rather cagey and withdrawn with her communication. When she leaves messages, they tend to be short, to the point, and often a bit tactless. Despite her withdrawn demeanor, Azaris actually takes great interest in the mortal world. She readily gives blessings to those that please her. That being said, she harbors a dislike of sycophants. If one desires her favor, they must earn it not through constant prayer and total subordination, but rather through living a life she finds to be worth her time. She generally gravitates towards those who demonstrate cunning and ambition while working in the shadows of life.
Base form
Azaris’ uses her base form only when absolutely necessary, as it is the form that requires her to be relatively visible. Showing such vulnerability makes her highly uncomfortable, and she retreats into her domain form as soon as possible afterward. Her base form is more or less that of a tall, black haired human woman. Her attire consists of a silken mask not entirely unlike a burka, accompanied by a long and flowing dress that constantly shifts to better blend in with its surroundings. Notably, she lacks a mouth.
Domain form
Azaris’ domain form remains unknown, as she has never willingly uncloaked herself while in it. She chooses instead to remain invisible, revealing herself only through scratched messages and phantom shoulder-taps.
Avatar
Azaris’ avatar, Zed, roams the earth to his own devices, unheard and for the most part unseen. Zed almost always remains invisible; he also nullifies all sound within a 20 foot radius of himself, making him effectively a walking silence bubble. Zed most definitely inherited his deity’s predisposition to concealment, but unfortunately not her sense of dignity. He generally is more selfish in nature than Azaris as well as much more curious. If Azaris is an unknowable and complex god, Zed is an especially annoying version of that raccoon that digs through your trash at night. While he is almost always invisible, he still makes himself known to mortals through messages scratched in whatever surfaces are most convenient. These messages have been known to include:

Requests/demands to leave any interesting trinkets at a specific location
Journals of his travels
Advice to mortals
And occasionally, bad jokes.
Zed’s true form has been viewed once or twice, while he rested in locations wrongly thought secluded enough to unveil himself. The descriptions paint a picture of a dark, mouthless, somewhat humanoid creature possessing chitinous claws, glowing eyes, and sharp ears. (to paint the most accurate picture just imagine the appearance of sableye With the raw vibes of Stitch) Theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVda6oZwad8
