Bella hadn't actually expected things to go as smoothly as they did, but no one was fighting, so it seemed to work. She was mildly amused at Watt's continued antics and his expression of the situation. And she didn't trust Spiral as far as she could throw her (which was, admittedly, less far in her present form).
