Just a heads-up for future references: All kinds of anti-magic, dispel or other mana-effect-cancelling abiliies or spells work on the principle that they remove any magic effect on their target, unless those effects are provided by an item. It doesn't matter if its a once-cast buff, a channeled ability or some form of faith-based blessing. If you're successfully struck by something that dispels magic, you'll need to re-cast the buff, channeling or whatever else. Of course, if the dispel effects fails (because the caster is lower level than you, or you have something that protects you against such things), then you'll just shrug it off and it'll do absolutely zilch to you. This has been a convulted explanation to dispelling magic! Thank you for your time.
