Well, I said I can pick something else if really needed to, but since Gil was name dropped as the kind of character this RP is looking for, I couldn't not mention him.

Sincerely, it's kind of bad taste to allow personal opinion get in the way of GMing, especially when it's the kind of opinion that goes like: "I had a bad time playing with someone who used a certain character in the past, therefore everyone who does the same character will be bad as well". Assuming the worst of people just because you had bad experiences in the past is a very rude thing.
