I had a small stopover in Schiphol myself in 2015 when they were doing some renovations to the airport and there was 1 toilet for the terminal because of it. Nightmare. 

The other few times I've been through since, it's been very nice though I must say. 

As a UKer living in Australia I've been in so many airports and have racked up some mega air miles. I hate flying.
