Winter woke up and ran a hand through Riley's hair. "I hope you can stay here forever..." she said softly. The doll looked up at her and smiled slightly. She got up and went to the closet. Winter took off her hoodie and over-shirt revealing what appeared to be stitches on her elbows and shoulders. Riley stared for a second as she got on a new over-shirt and put her hoodie back on. She then grabbed a pair of jeans and went to the bathroom to change pants. Riley shifted slightly, trying to adjust in his new doll body. He managed to sit up before trembling and falling backwards on the bed. Winter walked out of the bathroom and noticed Riley. "Something wrong, sweetie?" Winter asked calmly. Riley started trying to sit up again. Winter placed a hand on Riley's back and helped Riley sit up. She then calmly propped him against the wall. "It will take a while but you'll get used to this new version of your body..." she said. Winter's voice was unnervingly calm. She left the bedroom and went downstairs, leaving Riley to his thoughts. He kept thinking about those apparent stitches he saw on Winter's arms. He realized Winter always wore choker necklaces for some reason, even in her sleep. He felt his curiosity grow. It was odd to him how calm she was about him moving and everything. He shifted and held onto the headboard of the bed. Riley got up, his body trembling a bit. He started to walk towards to bedroom door and held onto anything that he could use to support himself. He suddenly fell down which caused Winter to run upstairs. "Riley, are you okay?" she asked as she helped Riley back up onto his feet. He nodded slightly and pointed at Winter's choker necklace. "What about my necklace?" she asked, genuinely confused. She helped him back to the bed and Riley spoke softly, "Why do you always wear the necklace?" Winter sighed slightly before taking off the choker necklace and revealing stitches across her neck. "I don't even remember how long it took me to get used to this... it's apparently something my family would do if one of us would get into a fatal accident..." she said softly. Riley stared at Winter in a stunned silence. She took off her hoodie and over-shirt, leaving on a tank top. It revealed her elbows and shoulders were indeed stitched up but there appeared to be a heart stitched into her chest. Winter put her over-shirt back on and sighed softly. "It felt weird for others to know but I guess I should let you know since you're like me now," she said. Riley gently pulled Winter into a hug and his voice was nothing more then a soft whimper, "It's okay... and again thank you..." Winter smiled and hugged back. She replied in an equally as soft whisper, "You're very welcome, Riley..."
