On an unrelated note;

The 'small pink and green crystals' are roughly the size of your average ice cream cone, with slight variations in size, thickness and amount of spiky crystal crag-like protrusions. Also, I forgot to mention, but the part of the tower where the hole is is equivalent to something like the 4th or 5th storey of a modern building, in case you all were curious.
