It definitely seemed that the Silver Surfer was some all powerful being that they had no chance of defeating - so it wasn't that surprising to hear that he could block out Allison's visions, yet it was still a huge blow to moral. Allison's visions allowed them to more or less preview what was going to happen. She liked having that advantage. Guin grimaced, wondering which one of them was going to be hit with a blast. She was pretty sure she'd be the one that the Surfer would react negatively to - Allison was too sweet, Bethany was quiet and moody, Pietro was... Pietro, and Mary tended to be quiet lately too. Whereas Guin on the other hand was a Stark - mouthy snark and sarcasm was in her DNA. I'm definitely going to be the one the Surfer attacked in Allison's vision. Yay me. No you won't be! Have you met me? I'm definitely going to rub the Chrome Dome the wrong way, Guin pointed out to her fiancé. She hesitated for a moment, not wanting to go through the door and enter the computer room Warlock described. She was alive at the moment - in danger, but alive. She couldn't help but have a bad feeling about them all going off to face the Surfer. Against someone that powerful, she wondered if they'd all make it out in one piece. "We should try to free those imprisoned here - it's the right thing to do," Guin said, stalling slightly. "Maybe after we get the device, I can hack into the systems here, release them all." I'd stop you from getting hurt. She gave Pietro a smile. I know. She then pushed on the door, only to find it was locked. She couldn't help but be slightly relieved, it bought them a little more time. It didn't buy them too much time though, as it was relatively easy for Guin to reprogram the electronic lock and open the door.

Neil Spellman

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3) Skills: N/A
Neil had already taken a tentative sip of the water, causing him to be a bit flustered and confused as the ent insisted that he drink more of it. He didn't feel like he had been poisoned or anything of the sort, so he supposed that it was alright. "Okay, okay..." he then drank the rest of the water in his bowl. It tasted weird - and reminded him of something his aunties might have made to drink during the Hare Moon. The strange taste wasn't bad however, just unique. And he did feel a little better, as if he had just received a health pack in a video game. His face then paled. They had fought their way down here and now, all of the sudden, they were being given a chance to heal and rest. He had played enough games to know what was coming next. "Guys... I think whatever's through that door, it's gonna be a boss fight." If they had any real life equivalent of a save point, Neil was pretty sure that would have happened too. But since this was real life, if they died in the upcoming boss fight, then that was it. They were dead. They couldn't just walk that off to come back from it. "We're in a room of nice ents after being attacked by a killer gorilla of all things - and we're being offered healing items... That's video game 101 for a boss is next."
