Martial arts in China was, after all, very much connected to the supernatural, as they took in everything from the concept of Feng Shui, Chinese Alchemy, and even Geomancy to reach that perfect peak, drawing in Qi and Mana from Gaia itself to power their own bodies. No method was too unusual or outlandish for them if it works, seen by their usage of a melting furnace gifted from the first emperor himself. Those who would be head meditate within it for days, and only those who survive will be strengthened, tempered to become much more, achieving a quality of Qi beyond normal humans. Those who do not, becomes purified to become fuel for those who succeed. She too had survived this ordeal, though it was less than a desire to become head and more out of curiosity then panic as she realized it was not something she can hop in and out to 'see how it feels like'. Circulating yin and yang within her body, she survived the 49 days required to exit it, and escaped with a stronger body, and tattered clothing, all the more to survive the relieved but angry mother that awaited her outside. A success made through her own circuits, bearing the attribute of 'refining', a burden of the body gifted through her family's long long dedication to their martial arts. A red gem to symbolize the south, black obsidian the north, and so on, with the fundamentals of I Ching and the concept of Yin and Yang. A blocked flow can be forced, those that flow can be stopped, an imbalance made to balance, balance to imbalance. With enough practice, they become a living conduit, channeling and outputting far more than any normal magus could, flowing and gathering, before flowing and expelling with speed and precision. An example would be a method to pass through a barrier of any kind with a hoop, utilizing the seed of yin inside the yang, or the seed of yang inside the yin and magnifying them. Since she uses it a lot, and with her training, her control over the weapon is great.

For a family that focuses solely on furthering their martial arts, it was inevitable that they would gather elements from other martial arts to further their own. Even for someone that was not as skilled as her brother, who would be the next head, she was undoubtedly among the masters with her prodigal skills. Those who saw her would undoubtedly recognize the mishmash of styles, all incorporating into the single philosophy of balance and flow, adapting against their opponents to ruin their tempo.
[/cell][/row]

Personality
[sup]__________________________________________________________[/sup] A respectful, energetic girl, she was the epitome of the word cheerful. While a person many would describe as kind and helpful, she was also quick to mete out punishment and retribution, as she would her kindness and help. Trying to faithfully adhere to the code of conduct her family had placed upon her, she carefully wends her way through life applying their teachings. Both the closed fist, and the open palm received would be returned twice. While she wasn’t any definition of the world trustworthy, she was very much fair in her judgement.
Background
[sup]__________________________________________________________[/sup] An ancient family, they could trace their lines all the way back to the first Emperor and even further back if their records was true. They have been teaching martial arts through their school since then to the present, though their form had never really gotten popular. Even in the present time, their school had only about 20 or so students, partly due to the very rigorous trainings, and techniques that was as much ritual as it was martial arts. Lin, like the rest of her siblings, had to balance their martial arts, learning in school and jobs at their family restaurant. While she was very proficient in their martial arts, and have the cultivated body of her family, her eldest brother was the strongest, and the most able of them all when it came to their arts. Her forte was more in the culinary arts, though when she chanced upon the Fuyuki ritual, and gaining her Command Seals, she joined it without hesitation. To leave without even trying would just leave her with a bad taste in her mouth after all.
