Her self-described best feature is a set of piercing green eyes, and although she is hardly ugly, her face isn't the kind to end up in a magazine. With dirty blonde hair and a well-built form underneath her uniform, Jessica's muscles, when they're on display, tend to be quite prominent thanks to a lower percentage of bodily fat. On missions where a certain type of camouflage is unnecessary, Jessica tends towards arctic camouflage, more out of comfort and familiarity than out of any particular dislike for more traditional styles. Outside of combat, Jessica dresses like a typical homebody, with big sweaters and loose-fitting clothing. Psych Profile Jessica is a quiet and taciturn type, both on the field and off. Like many engineering types, she takes pride in effective and sturdy, not big and flashy, a mindset that expands outwards to her personality. Despite being praise-averse, Jessica takes pride in her work and makes sure to do it right the first time around, leading to her having a reputation as a reliable and capable operator, just not a particularly dramatic or showy one. Jessica has a fairly strict moral system despite her occupation, and although teetotals for health reasons, is a vegan by choice. A utilitarian, she believes her role as a soldier and special forces operator is to keep as many people safe as possible, and disconnects with previous assignments have chafed with her, especially as it's hard to speak to a psychologist about governmentally classified secrets. On the field, her reliability and capability belie one crucial note that many have with Jessica- she cannot take charge. The Canadian lacks the force of will or personality to exert her influence on other soldiers comfortably, and as such is much happier being second in the stack up. Outside of her working life, she's most at home... At home. An aspiring charcoal artists and self-professed homebody, she can often be found in the barracks communal area, watching television and with a mug of hot cocoa in her hand. When she's not there, she's liable to be in the arena, working on the many holographic projectors and recording cameras there. All in all, Jessica is a peculiar package of an operator, but an effective one nonetheless.
Operator Equipment FN Minimi (Canadian C9A2 Variant) Diemaco Colt Canada C8 Benelli M4 Super 90 Browning Semi-Automatic SIG-Sauer P229 Operator Ability The Pinhole, or to use its official name, the FOS Mk.3, is a tiny and extremely durable camera mounted inside a diamond-tipped pneumatic steel punch. Using the deployment device, the bulletproof camera can be shot through up to an inch of steel, the tip breaking off and the camera activating shortly after delivery. The camera can operate independently for approximately seven hours at a time before the internal battery runs out of power. There is no easy, field-practical way of removing the camera once deployed.
Biography Born in Quebec, to a fairly average family, there was nothing that would instantly lead you to believe that she would become a special forces operative. Her father was a Maths professor at the university of Quebec, something that lead her into the world of STEM fairly early on in her life. It was perhaps around her tenth birthday when the seeds of what would lead her into Rainbow were planted. Becoming more and more invested in maths and physics, she also joined the track and field team at her local school, and was slowly and surely modelled into a potential soldier. At university, she studied Electrical Engineering, whilst also being an Army Reservist. After she finished her degree, she became a full-time communications specialist, with an expertise in cameras and UAVs. Undergoing the gruelling entrance exam for the JTF2, she served in several theatres as both an auxiliary support operator and directly in the line of fire, standing out as a rock against which squads could fall back on. Since these deployments, she was involved in a distinct lack of operations for several years, until finally she re-entered combat as an on-loan support operator for a US Navy SEAL team. These actions are classified to such a level as only Six has access to them, but were what brought her to the attention of RAINBOW once it was reactivated. Abrasive, unafraid to speak his mind, definitely prejudiced and an overwhelming terrible person, Jackson would have been booted out on dishonourable conduct a long long time ago if it wasn't for his extreme aptitude for dehumanising and awful work and his filter miraculously applying whenever a superior officer raises their head. Prone to violence, drinking, smoking, gambling, "macho" displays of strength, many who have never seen Jackson on the field might wonder how he ever got into a high-ranking special forces position, until they see him at work. In combat, Jackson seemingly transforms into a different person, and a much better person at that. Methodical, precise, protective of his squadmates and with a knack for spotting things that others missed, Jackson with a gun in his hand is a cool, efficient and extraordinarily effective operative. It's likely the reason he's never had a grenade "accidentally" rolled into his sleeping bag. Made out of titanium, a small car's worth of motors, microgyros, and all sorts of engineering wizardry, the advanced HULC exosuit provides its wearer with many, many advantages. Chief among them is the ability to carry almost double the normal amount an operator would be capable of carrying, allowing Jackson to wear additional armour without the loss of speed. Furthermore, boosters and gyros in the feet of the exosuit allows for Jackson to jump up to nine feet straight in the air. This is completely without subtlety or finesse, making a load of noise, and furthermore, is impossible to be used to enter through windows. What this is useful for however, is scaling through destroyed hatches and even up onto balconies. After a jump, the suit requires the operator to wait a full minute whilst being active, to recharge the kinetic energy within the boosters.
Biography Jackson's had it rough. He was left off in a border town at a 'safe haven' for depositing kids, and became a ward of the state before he was three days old. His only possessions were a birth certificate, with his nationality marked as Canadian, and his mother and father's name left out. Growing up, he got into trouble and was generally a bit of a shithead, barely even making it all the way through high school. It was after high school however, where things started to look up for him. Crossing the border to Canada, he pretty much instantly joined the Canadian army, where he would serve for four years. During these four years, he was an exemplary soldier in every way but attitude- something that held him back through further promotion, however did reveal that he took to the nastier operations like a duck to water. This deft hand for the worse side of the military, and the fact that no matter what, he could at least keep that gobby mouth of his shut meant that he was, somehow, a prime candidate for special operations. Although he could have joined the JTF2 earlier, it took him a full four years before he felt prepared enough to go for the application process. He passed the JTF2 entrance exam and passed with flying colours, a neat segue into his participation in covert operations. These are classified at a Canadian Government level, and as such are not known by Team Rainbow, however he was suggested for Rainbow service personally thanks to this participation. Training and Experience High School Diploma Four years Canadian Army Two Years JTF2 Arctic Warfare Specialist CQC Defender Course Field-Information Gathering Qualification Counter-Interrogation Course Family N/A. Theme Song
