Along with the senbon pick, she also has a white lotus looking pin on the left side, just above her ear. Upon closer inspection it is noticed to actually be an assortment of feathers positioned into a flower shape. Both fashionable and deadly - it works perfectly. The front of her hair is a bit asymmetrical as her bangs are at different lengths, some falling shy of her eyes and the others sweeping off to the right side of her face - while still having enough loose locks to frame her left side as well.[/color][/INDENT]

She was raised exclusively as an assassin, for the Flight specialized in forming contracts with powerful people of prestige and dispatching assassins to eliminate important targets - and so she began killing at a very young age. Within this organization, Nijika was known only by her codename: [i]'Hane ha'[/i] [color=#00c0ff](Feather Blade - 羽刃)[/color]. Due to her upbringing, Nijika became utterly inured to the sight of death, eventually becoming so engrossed in her ability to kill without experiencing any remorse or conflicting emotion that she started to become dependent on killing for the stimulation it provided. By the time she was nine, she had already killed enough to earn the title of a [color=#00c0ff][i]"Bird of Death"[/i][/color].

Nijika was taught how to fight by a woman in the organization, who raised her and was known as her Mother Bird. When Niji had grown older, she was forced to kill her mother figure in order to perform the [color=#00c0ff][i]'Sky Burial'[/i][/color], as a rite of passage. The trauma of killing her mother figure caused her to develop two different personalities. Later, she was placed under the command of a man named Gakkuri, whose group dealt with missions involving VIP assassinations, "extermination and clean-up of the escort". Her resulting mental issues made her an unpredictable force and she commonly caused 'accidents' on the field. This caused her to be looked upon and treated scornfully by the other members as a 'plague'. Her skills, however, proved far too valuable to do away with.

During an assignment, there was a squad of ninja who, upon using genjutsu on a lot of the Birds, burned the leader's mind - killing him - and dissolving the chain of command. Inadvertently, Nijika was freed, and inexplicably drifted into the custody of an adoptive family. It was this family that gave her the name [color=#00c0ff][i]Nijika[/i][/color]. Although she struggled to adapt to the "average life", Nijika ruminated on the new freedoms that were provided, and decided that this new life could possibly be acceptable. However, her peaceful, new found existence did not last for long. After she was scolded for releasing the youngest daughter's pet bird, she murdered her entire foster family in a blind rage. Finding that she could not live without the fundamental excitement of inflicting death on others, Nijika began a wandering lifestyle, and heartlessly killed any who crossed her path. To show that she was no longer a tool to the organization, she chose to keep the name her adoptive family had given her, giving her old codename to her weapon(s) instead.

During her travels she came across a beautiful goddess, upon meeting her and listening to her tales and plans for the world, Niji decided then and there that she was going to pledge herself to her and her cause - longing for the freedom that she proposed and promised she was going to bring about. Since then, Niji has been a loyal servant and follower of [color=#00c0ff][b][i]Izanami[/i][/b][/color]; hoping to one day be something more to the love of her life.[/color][/indent]

Maybe she's the last of the resources needed in order for Izanami to go full kaiju mode - the first time? Or she dives in front of her to take the extreme damage in order to protect her? IDK but she's gonna end up dying someway somehow. OH ALSO - a rivalry of sorts with the other lieutenant in Kami-sama's regime.[/color][/indent]

Her favored past time is to present the victim with the deceased body of a loved one - for the most part causing them to go mad. She has made father's believe their children to have fallen before them at their own hands, eyes appearing and disappearing just out reach and out of sight - making them believe there are many more enemies just beyond them and the like.
