It had evidently been futile too, as Bethany was thrown back through the door and ended up in the hallway with the rest of them. The Silver Geriatric himself was in front of them, floating on what looked like a Club Penguin unlockable surfboard. "It wouldn't be an X-Men mission if we didn't settle things with fists instead of words," Guin quipped. From what Warlock had said, all they needed to do was give a convincing try - enough so that way if Galactus questioned the Surfer about how the device was stolen, the Prince of Chrome could save face in front of his boss. Here goes nothing, she whispered to Pietro, before making her first move in this match. She darted forward and put a hand on the Surfer, trying to switch bodies with him. It didn't work - his mind was incredibly powerful - and she was admittedly rusty. She didn't use this power as often as she should have. As much as she kept on pushing and pushing, pulling off the switch continued to elude her. She was about to give up when Guin gave it one last try - one last shot to try to make something useful out of her mutant powers. For a split second, she was in control of the Silver Surfer's body. Her brain felt like it was on fire - like she was melting. The rush of power that he controlled was exhilarating. "You know not what you are dealing with," the Silver Surfer whispered in her mind, before another split second passed and she was thrown back into her own body. She let out a scream of pain, stumbling backwards as she opened up her face shield and put her hands on her head. She'd never felt pain quite like this before. "Guina? What's wrong are you okay?" Pietro asked her instantly, it was clear from his tone of voice that he was worried and panicking from that scream of hers. "I'm... fine..." she groaned, feeling like someone had just tossed a Molotov cocktail into her mind. "Just give me a breather...Maybe some ice for my brain..." she wheezed. "...What happened?" "Surfer," Guin managed to stay. She was still holding her head with her hands, trying to make the pounding stop and the heat die down.

Neil Spellman

Location: Galactus' Ship - Flora Colossi Room Skills: Telekinesis
"...The boss is the big bad of the video game - or at least, that level," Neil explained to Iris, a little bit dumbfounded. It then dawned on him that she probably didn't understand what big bad meant either. "The big bad is the villain - usually the main one, the minions of the big bad don't count." He really hoped that she knew what a minion was and he certainly didn't mean the weird little yellow cartoon men that grandmas on Facebook adored. The ents seemed to be annoyed with Iris as well, something that Neil had no trouble relating to. She was nice and all, but also really seemed to lean into the entire pothead stoner aesthetic. Otherwise known as the bard aesthetic, he supposed. As soon as the door opened, Neil ducked down to the side just as Mira instructed. An idea then wormed its way into his brain. He usually used his telekinesis to destroy things, but he could use it to bring objects to him just as well. From his crouched position, he could see the device behind a security system of sorts in the middle of the room. The Silver Surfer was distracted by the others in the room already (namely Quicksilver, Guin, Allison, Marygold, and Bethany) so he figured that it was now or never - he had to take a leap of faith, take his shot. Neil began to gently tug on the device with his mutant powers, triggering a very loud alarm. A case enclosed the device. The Silver Surfer noticed all of them now. His heart sank. That wasn't at all how he was hoping for things to go.
